OUR JOURNEY
Hey Hey was born from a simple yet profound idea: to bridge the gap between indulgence and conscious eating. As fervent lovers of Asian cuisine, we often found ourselves craving the bold, intricate flavors that have long been a staple of takeout menus. However, our pursuit of a plant-based lifestyle made it challenging to find options that aligned with our values without compromising on taste.
Driven by this culinary void, Hey Hey came to life. Owner of AVO, Annie Choo and flavor master, Chef James Ford embarked on a journey to reimagine traditional Asian dishes, infusing them with the goodness of plant-based ingredients while exploring the whimsical side of asian fusion. We sought to capture the essence of beloved flavors, from the umami-rich depths of soy sauce to the tantalizing heat of chili peppers, all while crafting a menu that celebrates sustainability, health, and the environment.
